In a world that's all about instant success and gratification....mushrooms...I see so many people who go up like a rocket but they come down like a rock. Friends, don't be that person.

Work, ministry, family, events and schedules have a way of running us down and eventually out. I often hear folks say, ‘Well I’d rather burn out than rust out’. That may sound good but either way you’re still out.

“All the work, time, money...the practices, meetings and fundraisers, and now it was all in one of two piles. I had to have a little moment with myself and wonder if I gave my kids more than just a T shirt and a Trophy?”

Remember, he is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.
All of us at times will face moments like Stephen faced, let's just pray we respond the way Stephen responded.

All of us face 'Giants'. Yours might be a giant need, giant concern, giant request or a giant battle. Do you have a Past with our Lord where you've seen Him work on your behalf? If so, let that be a reminder Today that He will do it again.

As you begin your day, whether you are in the Holy Land, Africa, Asia, Europe, Or the Americas....or anywhere else for that matter, I challenge you to have/develop a life of DISCIPLINE and not DISTRACTION. This world is brutal and it offers many dangling distractions...don't let it suck you in! Be faithful, disciplined, and steadfast.
